Hobby Expo 2013

We had a wonderful time at Hobby Expo 2013 this past Saturday!

The event is held annually at Hobby Emporium and we were proud to be a part of it for the second year in a row.  Here we are chatting with the store's owner, Art.

We met a lot of new fans!  Everyone always loves a chance to sit inside a Legends car...

We gave out a lot of free swag, including Casey Jones Bones samples and handfuls of Hooligan Motorsports stickers, thanks to CustomizedStickers.com! 

A great time was had by all and we hope to be back in 2014! In the meantime, if you're in New England, take a trip to Hobby Emporium in Tyngsboro, MA and see what the fun is all about!

Star Speedway ~ 6/8/13

The NELCAR Legends tour hit Star Speeding in Epping, New Hampshire on Saturday, June 8 for a great night of racing action!  The #8 was racing in 4th spot when Matt spun and was forced to restart at the tail end of the field.  He fought his way back up to 13th, when the race was called for time and cut short by a few laps.  You can check out the full story over on Nelcar.net

In addition to some great racing action by the 19 car field, the Legends drivers also did an on track meet and greet for the fans!  Matt signed many autographs and welcomed several young fans to take a seat inside the #8.  A great time was had by all and we can't wait to get back to Star on August 17th!

We also handed out lots of Casey Jones Bones sample packs and made some 4-legged fans very happy!

NHMS ~ 4/27/13

The Hooligan Motorsports #8 was ready to make some right-hand turns as we hit the New Hampshire Motor Speedway road course on Saturday, April 27 for the Moat Mountain Smoke House & Brewing Company Legends Series.  Although NHMS is not part of the NELCAR Tour this year, we are planning to visit the speedway as often as our schedule allows.

Everyone changed gears and got back into the swing of road racing, after a long 6 months off.  Although a bit chilly, the spring day proved to be a great one for racing.

Matt finished p12 in a 20 car field featuring road racers from all over New England -- and we handed out tuns of Casey Jones Bones treats to eager race dogs and their owners!

Wiscasset Speedway ~ April 6, 2013

The 2013 NELCAR touring series kicked off on April 6th at Wiscasset Speedway.  It was a cold, windy day at the race track, but that didn't stop the Legends!
